DISCOUNT SURF COMPANY SHIPPING POLICY
When will my order be shipped?
Your order will usually ship within two business days of our receipt of your order, though we strive to ship on the same business day for orders received by 11am CST. Surfboards may sometimes take three business days to ship. You will be notified by email when the order has been processed and shipped. The email will include the tracking number so you can track the status of your shipment online. We do not charge your card until your order is shipped.
What am I charged for shipping and handling?
You will be charged the actual shipping cost for shipping, usually through FedEx, UPS or USPS.
What happens if a I order a product that's out of stock?
Although we strive to be sure only products actually in stock are offered for sale online, in rare circumstances it is possible that an item you ordered may be temporarily out of stock. In such cases, other items from your order that are in stock will be shipped and you will be notified of the shipment as stated above. When the out of stock item is again available, it will be shipped separately. If the item is not received in inventory within 30 days from your order date, you will be notified and given an opportunity to cancel your order or keep it active. Your credit card will not be charged for the out of stock item until it actually ships.
Shipping costs are based on real-time quotes from our freight providers like USPS, UPS and FedEx. The total shipping charge will be displayed on the last page of the order form before you submit your order.
Calculating Delivery Dates
You'll see an estimated shipping or delivery date for each shipment on the order form, just before you place your order. An estimated delivery date, or date range, and tracking number (depending on the type of shipping method you selected) will appear in your account once you've placed your order.
Estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including the destination address, the shipping option you've chosen, and how quickly we can prepare items for shipment. Orders for multiple items or multiple copies of a single item can take longer to assemble before we're able to ship them to you.
We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address, based on the shipping speed you've chosen.
For example, if you order an item that is listed as "Usually ships in 2-3 days" and select standard U.S. shipping (which typically takes 3-5 business days), you can determine that your order should arrive 5-8 business days after you place it.
You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order has been shipped. You can also login to your account to review.
How One-Day and Two-Day Shipping Works
Not all of the items listed on our site are available to us immediately, so selecting One-Day or Two-Day Shipping does not necessarily mean your order will arrive in one or two days. Saturday and Sunday delivery may be available for certain locations. One day shipping is not available for P.O. boxes or APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.
Government regulations, warranty requirements and manufacturer restrictions prevent us from shipping certain products to certain geographical locations. Items too big to ship to P.O. boxes must be shipped to a street address. You'll be notified while placing your order if we're unable to ship items to the address you've selected.
